Territory

Il B&B Al Vecchio Pontile overlooking the "Natural Reserve of the Stagnone" where every morning from your room, you can admire the "Stagnone Nature Reserve" with its windmills and islands "Egadi" horizon.
The Bed and Breakfast is located 8 km from the center of Marsala and is easily reachable from the airport of Trapani that from Palermo.
The area is well served and excellent as a base for visiting the most beautiful places in the province.

Places and Activities

Thanks to an optimum position the Bed and Breakfast al Vecchio Pontile is the ideal base for excursions or water sports such as kite-surfing, wind-surfing, sailing.
From here you can easily reach the most fascinating places in our area:
the nature reserve of the Stagnone, Isola Lunga, the island of Mothia and salt marshes of Marsala and Trapani, from which you can admire an unforgettable sunset colors;
the archaeological wonders of Segesta, Selinunte and Agrigento;
the historic center of Marsala, the Trapani and Mazara del Vallo;
Egadi Islands (Levanzo - Favignana - Marettimo) at 30 minutes by boat;
San Vito Lo Capo, Palermo and the beautiful Zingaro Nature Reserve and the mouth of the Belice.
Also a few hundred meters away are the Spot "Jama Kite" and "The Ways of the Wind" where you can practice your favorite water sports such as kite-surfing, wind-surfing and sailing.

Bathing areas

Il B&B Al Vecchio Pontile is located inside the Stagnone Nature Reserve where the shallow water allow to bathe children and adults safely and without leaving too.
Along the coast road that goes towards Trapani meet the beaches of "San Teodoro" and "Marausa".
In Marsala in the center you can swim in "Capo Boeo" which is the western tip of Sicily.
Instead along the coastal road to Mazara del Vallo you will find various lidos along the 4 km of beach leading up to the city of Petrosino.
Egadi Islands (Levanzo - Favignana - Marettimo) with their stupid seabed and crystal clear water can be reached by hydrofoil from the port of Marsala.
